They have called for over two months and five to six times a day and they leave ridiculous emails telling me that only God can help me. when I did answer today he would not give me the name of the person or how much I owed so I hung up on him and then he called me on a second number 212-536-5900.
This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I just received a call again today from these guys. Didn't answer just let it go to voice mail. They left a message also threatning me telling me that they wish me the best of luck. Yes I will be reporting them to the FTC. As I have done so many others. Scott Miller is the name I got on my voice mail. Then they tell me that the situation on fold on me. LOL...these guys are a joke and if our government is so call screening the numbers that call our cell phones then why don't they have these guys locked up. I got this exact same message today,Scott Miller also wished me "the best of luck as the situation unfolds" I wish the government would step in and do something about this!!
