IRS Telephone Scam. Extortion attempt. Got call from 646-340-4218, a man posing as IRS agent, threatening arrest via local police. Wanted money to cancel warrant and payment of $500 via moneypak at cvs but said balance owed to IRS was much higher at around $4,600. Had heavy accent like middle eastern, Indian or Pakistani. Also got call from accomplice posing as another IRS agent at 305-471-1780 and they made a three way call with me. Have reported to police in NY and FL, economic crimes, FBI and hired private investigator.
