These people call me everyday at least once and sometimes again at night. I've gone on line to the "do not call list" but that doesn't work. I've pressed the button and when they come on the line begged them to stop calling. This is insane!
They called me about 15 mins. ago, same message offering to lower interest rates. I knew it was a "fake" call, but was surprised to see it was from a "Bell South" phone number. I went to Bell South's website and could find no contact number to report that a "Bell South" phone number is being utilized to scam and commit fraud on the public. (That is wrong on so many levels!)
The company is Client Services and their website is www.clientservices.com
The call center is in St. Louis so the South Florida number which displays in caller ID is useless. They are debt collectors. If you're being wrongly targeted and they won't stop, be sure to submit a complaint to both the FTC and your state attorney general. If you actually owe a bad debt, your recourse may be different.
Today's call was very disruptive in home with ill person.
I am very current on all 2011 "DO NOT CALL" lists.
I have neither debt, mortgage, nor credit card with high finance charge !!
I have a folder of 11 unsolicited faxes for finance, travel, etc., from various companies
printed on my photo paper !
To whom do I file a complaint on telemarketing by telephone and fax - for results ?
you need to go to the DO NOT CALL registry website and file a complaint on each company and phone number. They do not accept complaints over the phone or by fax
