I Received a call last Tuesday from he said his name is shawn peterson.he said he my face on camera and my finger print where i wrote a check on a closed account..he said if i did not pay by 8 pm there's going to be a warrent for my arrest
Persons keep calling from this number stating they are an officer, every time they call looking for this person they give different names. I would love to have this number blocked.
Returned call to this number (305-507-8584) only to be threatened by a guy with a foreign accent who identifies himself as an officer who threatens arrest, and requested my social security number over non-existent debt.
I’m receiving scam calls from this number to the office supposedly from a Law Office of Federal Bank stating that they have a claim against me and asking for Social Security information.
They tried to intimidate me by asking to speak to my supervisor or owner of the company to let them know cops were on their way to get me.
I called the Apopka police and they confirmed that it is a scam. People are calling saying that they are Officer “Such and Such” (Office Jim Harris, Officer Shawn Peterson) (with strong middle eastern accents) and want you to give them ss # and home address.
The police officer suggested me to block all calls and not give ANY information out. If this happens to you, you should contact the police first, SSN Fraud Dept. and OCSO Consumer Fraud. This is not the first case they’ve had in Apopka.
They called again.I got more information of whom this person is. They are saying Officer Shawn Peterson with Law Office of Federal Bank in Jacksonville, Florida and the phone is 1-305-507-8584.
I've been receiving calls from this number stated that is a Officer John something (with an indian accent)... They have old information from me and that I supposed to have a claim against me. They tried to get more info from me but i didn't gave them anything, BEWARE it's SCAM. Probably they get my info from a third party company.
