A man said he was from the Health Department and wanted to contact my son age 15 about doing a smoking survey and that he would be paid $15.00 Dollars if he answered the questions about teenagers and smoking. When I hung up I tried to call the phone number back and it said it was not a working number. I tried 1-305-551-0380 and got State Farm Insurance, they said they did not know anything about this survey. One thing that is also distrubing about this call was that they knew my son's first,middle and last name.
Called and said they needed to ask a few questions. I said no, they started talking anyway, I told them to remove me from the list and he asked the questions, so I hung up on him.
Called and said they needed to ask a few questions about smokers in the household. Said I would not answer any questions about my household. Caller said that was fine and then proceeded to ask the questions anyway. I told him to remove my name from his call list and he said the only way they will quit calling is if I answer their questions. I hung up.
Said they are with the fla health dept. Want to do survey about smoking. I say not interested. They say, it's very important in order to help the community. I ask for # to be removed from list. They say not unless I answer questions. Finally, last question was directed to 18-24 age group and I did not qualify and they hung up. I hope they don't call again. They called a few days ago and I hung up on them. Oh well.
