A jerk with an Indian (I think) accent called about "medical compensation". I asked to be put on the do not call list. He said okay without really listening. I told him to hold on, pressed my record button, and told him the call is now being recorded. He would not verbally say I was being placed on the do not call list  but tried to continue his spiel. I'm stubborn and continued to say put  me on your do not call list and he hung up. Then I was called by a New  York number immediately 646-918-5615 and ignored it. According to this website, that number is trying the same thing. Both numbers have been blocked in my phone.
