received a call from Andrew Shulman on 9/15/09 at 3:35PM. He asked if we did Financial Planning? I could tell right away it was a sales call posing as a client. I said yes and asked him what company he was calling from. He got defensive and said he was not calling from a company and wanted to talk to the advisor regarding financial planning. I asked if he was looking for financial planning for himself or someone else. He again got defensive and sarcastic and said he wasn't aware that someone would call on behalf of someone else. I asked what would be a good time to have the advisor call him back. He said he was a very busy man and didn't know his schedule but if he knew the advisor's schedule he would be available. I asked if he was available at 4:00 today for a call back and he said yes and then I googled his number. He will not be getting a call back.
The guy "Andrew Shulman" who called was very rude & assumptive. He wasn't specific on why he was calling & short tempered. I will remember this number & him for all the wrong reasons. If he is trying to sell something, he's horrible in people skills & he should find a nonsocial in which he would be better at. Whatever this company is should just fold now if they have people like him working for them. I'll be sure to hang up if I ever see this number on my caller ID again. I also called back the phone number he gave & it was his office number. So again, he was under false pretense. He is reason why I dislike most telemarketers.
Could you be more specific? I just received a call at my business line from the same "Andrew Shulman"...he was not rude but seems to be cold calling people in the life insurance and financial planning business trying to sell "marketing data" perhaps....when I said I was not looking for new prospects, he said thanks and hung up...
This dolt called me recently and thought he was going to be sly acting like he wanted to become a client of ours. I knew something was off when his phone number was out of state.
This trickster called me just a few moments ago - asking if we were taking on any new clients and I informed him that WE ARE ALWAYS TAKING ON NEW CLIENTS - and brushed him off - Honestly??!!! Got his number literally and figuratively!!! Gotcha!!!
Andrew Shulman (305)749-8538 just called my business line. He made it seem like he was interested in becoming a client, not selling something. Very shifty.
