we have receives several calls from these people, they don't take no for an answer. They have used different ph numbers or use call block so we can't see the number. When we tell them we don't have an ad with them they try to give me a date, name of office employee who supposedly gave the order etc, when I say I want to see this in writing they hang up.
Women called my business and identified herself as someone with the National Directory and wanted to know if I wanted to renew my listing. I don't even know what she was talking about and told her so, she said I had a listing for the last three years and wanted to know repeatedly if I wanted to cancel it. I told her never had a listing or anything else with them and didn't know who they were. Started telling me I would receive a bill for $800+ . Politely told here what she could do with her $800 and again stated that I had never heard of them. She hung up on me. Called the number back and there is a recorded message that this was a business and that if you received a call from this number that it is because someone had stolen on of their office lines. Really????
Complete phishing scam. They are calling in hopes you'll "cancel" something u never signed up for aka Yellow Pages ads online. Tell the to get Fxxxed and hang up.
Guy claimed to be managing my Google web listing. Said I had gotten X number of views and hits on my listing and did I not want to renew my subscription? Like yea, here's my credit card number, SSN, bank routing numbers and the passwords I have used in the last 10 years.
