This company represents to be GE Capital Retail Bank, IN FACT THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED IN ANY WAY WITH GE CAPITAL BANK AT ALL. THEY KNOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WANT YOU TO HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT IN YOUR ACCOUNT IN RETURN FOR A DEPOSIT BETWEEN 3k-5k deposited within one hour.Beware, beware, beware.
This number has called me 13 times in the past 2 minutes... didnt realize it was possible to call someone that fast. I didnt answer thinking they'd stop. I guess I was wrong.
They will call telling you that you have been approved for a very large loan but becuase of your low credit score you must purchase a Vanilla Reload card but, they will accept a Green Dot card, as well. You will be instructed to load a small balance, like $200 on there just for 30 minutes (because that's all it takes for them to clear the deposit you make to the card and pocket it). They promise that within 45 minutes you will receive a call letting you know the loan plus the money you added to the pre-paid card has been deposited into your account. By then you have realized what has happened but, by the time you check the prepaid card, it's zeroed out! Don't fall for it like I did. :-(
