I've had three phone calls from this "gentleman" claiming I have won 2nd place prize of about $460,000. Today he asked me the name of my favorite charity, since I have not accepted this "win" they are going to send money to my charity. Yeah. right. I told I never send money to anyone I don't know. He said he would send me an email explaining who he was, etc. never got an emil. He tried to get me to think about what I was going to do with the money...I refused to tell him, said I already knew, did not have to think about it.
Now that my suspiciions are corroborated here, I will be more careful in checking the caller ID and just not answer. I am supposed to send money to cover the cost of "insurance" when they send the winnings. don't do it. they think they are clever!
I received a telephone call 2 months ago about this matter and I told them I never got the package. And then tonight I got another call and they gave the telephone number of 305-831-6951 and that they where from the winner's circle. He claim that his name was Stevn McGuire. So he claim that he was going to call me back on saturday and asked if I wanted to donate the money to charity or keep it, etc. Based off of previous experience this is a scam.
