Same thing! These people must think everyone is a moron except them. We get about 5 of these a day, it seems: Here's his email regarding an rfq on a pressure washer. When I asked for his company name he only gave me his phone number and a local address & demanded a quick reply. He couldn't produce a company=we can't sell to him.

This all started with an email RFQ. When I questioned him for company name and address he got aggitated. When he finally gave me the address as 4250 NE 90th St., Anthony, FL 32617 I Googled it and was taken to a Real Estate web site that has this property listed for sale. I called the Real Estate company and told them the situation. Tom Anderson was not the person who owns this beautiful ranch estate.
When I got to work this morning I had two voice mails. One from "Tom Anderson" wanting me to contact him so we could complete the sales transaction with his credit card. The other voice mail was from John Decker with Scam Warners. His voice mail said that "Tom Anderson" was being watch by his organization. He said that "Tom Anderson" would try to pay with three different credit cards and split the payments between them. I didn't give Mr. Anderson the pleasure of a return call and he never called again or emailed. NOTE: he even gave me a website www.unicellinc.com . These guys are really on top of things but they are still stupid.
Beware.
This fella contacted us looking to purchase some of our product. Without even speaking directly over the phone, he/she produced 3 Credit card #'s with varification codes Via e-mail of cource the charges were declined! We are unsure what the actual scam is in this. But who gives out credit card info so freely these days? This guy seemed to really want the autherization codes. We have had no further contact with this individual"Thomas Anderson" since.
all started with an email rfq for a pressure washer. He even sent me a frt forwarder to contact and get a shipping rate. I suspected it was a scam so I doubled the shipping rate then told him that was an error and tripled it. HE STILL WANTED TO "BUY" THE EQUIP imagine that?! All with a CC though.
