A man who spoke English as a second language called and told me 2 years ago I paid $200 for a license for my computer. I told him no, he has the wrong number. Then the man got furious and yelled at me saying I was calling him a liar. Then threatened if I hung up that he would shut down my computer. I laughed and hung up. Don't give this number any information. Scammers!!! Beware.
6:03 AM got "important" call from a Microsoft windows person (I think: he was an English Second Language person). Told him it was 6 Am. He asked to call back in 2 hours. Then I checked the number.
Windows support scammers that have been doing this for quite a while now. They are full of it and hang up on you when they are not successful at convincing you to let them hack into your computer. They insisted that my computer was hacked and though persistent in trying to convince me that it was and that I was a registered Windows user (which I'm not), hung up on me when I was uncooperative. I attempted to call the number back but it doesn't go through. It's a big scam so please do not give these people your personal information and do not do anything they tell you so they can remote into your computer.
