Got a call from this number tonight in my call list and I will block it because I just got a new phone and NOBODY HAS MY NEW NUMBER. Except for a scam or robot obviously. Glad I found this site! Thanks everybody!

Hate to burst your bubble here, but your number is NOT new at all-it's only new to YOU. Someone got rid of that number (probably due to the calls) and it was assigned to you. What you're dealing with are idiots looking for the previous owner of the number. If you hadn't gotten the number, someone else would have and they'd be dealing with the same issue

That's loads of crap. I still have the first cell number I've ever had. Well over a decade ago and they're calling me too.

For landlines it IS true and possibly some cell numbers as well
