However, after reading some of the other posts there is something I think that everyone should know. Certain lenders want to lend to a business because there are laws to protect CONSUMERS from shady collection practices (i.e. the FDCPA); as opposed to collecting from businesses, including sole proprietorships. Therefore they want you to take out a "business" loan so that they can charge you a bazillion percent interest or some such nonsense.
I have a small business phone calls like these used to drive me nuts and waste a lot of my time. Now I'm forwarding 3 lines to my iPhone and blocking all the unwanted numbers like this one from $ 250.000 loan... Just a hint!!! Now I
it's a pleasure listening to the business phone ring once and no call on my cell! Soon I will have a secretary and will provide her with a pre-programmed iPhone just for this feature. It will pay for itself in no time!
