Go ahead and turn them in. I have turned in hundreds of numbers and it does squat. The Do Not Call list is a big joke and does not work. Scammers do not care if you turn them in. Usually the phone number is spoofed or fake and if someone comes after them they move to a new spot or change their number
I received a call from this organization who I blocked from my incoming calls. On call-back I received a message which identified the company as an organization which calls on behalf of "nationally recognized organizations." The do present an option to remove your number from their call list. Redial their number, wait for the prompts, choose option #2 and you will be prompted to input first your area code and then your phone number to be added to their internal do-not-call list.

My call blocker disconnected the call. It does this when it senses the call is a robocall going out to hundreds of phones at the same time. I love my call blocker!
