yes they are a fake,I called the creditor they were supposedly working for and said company had never heard of them.they informed me to call my bank and to call the police.which I did so be very aware!! of these people.they are also going by the name dbs-bcn.
Called- sounded like a robot voice, stating I had fraudulent activity and that they were getting ready to serve me at my place of employment and home. The gave me a case number but didn 't say who the Debtor was nor have I seen anything in the mail regarding anything of the sorts. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and have blocked the phone number on the cell phone and house phone. I would love to have them show up at the door and be welcomed by Smith and Wesson..
I received a call from this number and it is fraudulent.I reported them to Michigan state police and my bank. I even call the creditor they said they were working with and was told by the creditor they had no knowledge of these people.so be very aware and don't give them any personal information.secondly call the police.
This number called me, my sister-in-law, and my dad looking for my brother concerning a court date for fraudulent behavior. I have no contact with my brother and told them so. They said they would take my number off of the contact list. If you attempt to call the number, no one answers and the voice mailbox is full.
So I just got a voicemail on my cell from this number... Typical recording that I have been getting sporadically over the last couple of weeks. They are with " county legal services" and there is fraudulent activity with my social security number. Give a cas number and say I must contact their client or will be served at both my residence and place of employment. The worst part is the called and left the same recording in my receptionists voicemail as well. Is that legal? They never did state they were debt collectors and I have not received anything in the mail.
Got a call from same number and I got served papers at my house about 2 hours later. Still don't fully understand what it in regards too. Guess I will find out sept 8th.....
