This # 313-349-4866 just called me now I did not answer the call. I never do if they are not in my contacts. If it's for something important, they leave a vm and I'll return their call if it's something valid.
There is a long pause then they play pre-recorded background noise of folks talking. They teel you this is your final notice to renew your auto warranty. After you speak, there is a pause, silence, background noise again and a pre-recorded voice with the appropriate answer to conceal their foreign voice. Calls are routed via VOIP. Second time they've called, I have reported here for the first time to alert consumers, to 411.com and the 'do not call list'. A complete scam!
Called... I answered.
Woman's voice said she was LIZ (?)
Now here is the fun part.
If you're reading this Liz then this is for you.
I started typing in numbers just as fast as I could and kept it up. Then SHE said Hel...
HELL... HELLO.
The voice kept getting cut off because I continued trying and was only getting bits and pieces.
More typing more broken words, then I heard a definite .... YOU!
I can only imagine she was saying liked me, but that's just a guess. :-)
Came here saw the notices.
Of course Scam.
Between Home Alarm systems, Renewing Car Warranties, and a Free Dianostic for my computer which somehow got a virus and was detected by the helpful folks at Microsoft in India no less than I'd say my Christmas shopping is done!
(313) 349-4866 MI, I'm listing as a number which places you in contact with Liz a Russian Bride seeking asylum in the United States.
Probably a scam, I'm just saying.
Any takers? :-P
Received this call at work from a woman telling me that the my auto warranty was expired. I asked "on what vehicle"? She proceeded to say "unfortunately our system was down and I don't have access to that information at the moment". I then hung up on her.
