I received a call from this number on my work number. I called them back on my cell number and spoke to a Peter Williams who transferred me to his supervisor Brian Connor, an attorney with Public Debt Service (PDS), Brian Connor said that they were trying to contact me for the last couple of days (not true no missed calls or voice mails on either number) and he is working with his client FAST CASH to sue me for not paying for a loan I received. I had to ask him to slow down because he was speaking very fast with a heavy Indian accent and I was writing down everything he said for any future reports As a side note, I received calls from FAST CASH trying to get a large loan and finally stopped the process after I realized that all of the "fees" associated with my loan and paid for by using Green Dot money cards were cashed and applied to a personal pre-paid debit card. I contact the local police department and followed their process for stopping the harrassing calls from FAST CASH. The amount that Public Debt Service will be trying to collect from me is the exact amount for the loan I never took from FAST CASH. The attorney said that I applied for and received a $500.00 loan in June of 2012 and never paid it back. Not true, never took this loan out and the loans i did take out were paid or settled. He told me that to clear this up, I could pay $1,200 on a green dot money card. I explained that I would not be doing that, he was very rude and threatening, saying that they would contact my work (which they can not). The company would be sending paperwork to me to be arrested and I should hire a very good attorney.After I hung up, I again called the local police department and spoke with a detective in the fraud division. He said if they call back to have them send out the documents and not to verify, confirm, deny or provide them any information. If they keep asking, to tell them to just send the documents. From the detective, once they send the documents, I can file a report on them
This is hugely frustrating for me and I have the resources to try and stop these calls. I am really concerned for those who are older or really believe them. What a waste to have someone use these resources for bad when we need to be using resources for good
I received a call at work from this number with the same exact line of bull. Saying they were going to send a police officer to arrest me. I told him I was googling the number and was reading right to him that he was a PayDay loan scam artist and I was calling the police. Don't believe this guy....trying to get your money.
This number has been calling my place of work non stop. The guy claims to be William Cox. He doesn't say what he wants but he's very persistent these calls need to stop.
I received a call about a week ago with the same bs .., a Mark Brown with a very heavy Indian accent called my work !! stated that he was calling on behalf of Fast Cash , transferred the call to his supervisor .., the supervisor was extremely rude trying to scare me ., they wanted me to pay them 1200.00 for a loan that i never took out or even know about . i began to be as aggressive as them .., Never took any loan out or have any idea what they are talking about . It's a scam !! don't believe them!!! report them !!!!! Mark Brown has called my work again today ..,
