12 Jun 2015, says they are "redautoprotection", wants to sell me 5-year car coverage and they know my name and what car I have. 3-4 people talked to me for ~45 min and trying to convince me activating the plan by giving them down payment on the phone, and claim that it could be refunded in 30 days. After I declined for dozens of times and said I won't do any deal one the phone, the other side start to be silent.
I had the same phone call wanted to sell me an auto protection plan for a lot of money a month and a down payment told them no and they got very rude with me and hung up.
Just received a call from them. Had a similar call months ago but not sure if it was the same company/organization/scam. Picked up and said hello and the lady appeared to be talking to herself, after I said hello again she started right up with her spiel on my vehicle being out of warranty and asked I signed something. I wasn't sure what she was talking about and she started getting defensive about it being certified letter and began to "bring up my file". I stopped her and stated "I don't even know what you're calling about, you don't need to bring up my file" at that point she got pissy and hung up. Probably a scam, if not I hope they were recording her call.
