Got call from this number, they asked for my name and was this me. I said yes and they hung up immediately. Clearly I just agreed to something but don't know what!
Asked for a Shane (which I am not, nor do I even have family/friends named that). When I said he had a wrong number, he tried to get me to donate to a disabled veterans cause. I'm sorry, but I don't trust any cold calls asking for donations.
I just got a call from a man asking for Sandra which I don't know anyone with that name. As soon as I said I'm not he said he worked for Quality Control to help disabled veterans and asked if I would like a package sent so I could donate money when I get the package I'll post if its real or not.
Had a guy ask for me by name. Said he was from some disabled veterans fund. I was listening to his spiel he asked if he could send out a packet for me to donate to wounded veterans. I said yes and asked how he got my telephone number. As soon as I asked how he got my number he hung up on me. Before he even got my address. I live in the Metro Detroit area look the phone number up and it comes back as a 1-800 own phone number. But no other information on the number. It's a scam for sure
