I don't know why this number keeps calling me but it's something about a Loss Mitigation thing. I have the number blocked and it goes straight to my voicemail.
Has called many times asking for a family member I have zero contact with and have told this to them. After calling them back when they first started not knowing what it was they tell me they have no records of calling this number. I told the woman that they gave called more than once asking for this family member and if they don't stop I will report them. She then got very rude with me and I told her I will report them and hung up.
I'm not sure if they are debt collectors or not but they are very rude and not trust worthy. If they call just don't answer or let them know you will report them.
These people called saying that they are trying collect a debt for J. A. CAPITAL. Have no idea of the creditor. They called my sister's number asking for me. I answered the called. Explained to the person had no idea of the debt. Asked them not to call my sisters number again. She is ill and should not be disturbed. The male became very rude claiming I was rude. I just asked him not to call my sisters number again. I did not raise my voice was not rude at all.
I received a call from this number on my cell phone but they didn't leave a message. They also called my work. So I called them back at about 10:00 p.m. my time. I know it was after hours but I wanted to see what type of message I would get. After about 8 rings a voice comes on and says the person you are trying to reach is unavailable, please leave a message. What type of professional business has a message like that. Also back in April I was involved in a payday loan scam. I paid almost $1000 (that I didn't really have) because they told me I was going to be arrested because I defrauded a financial institution, it was from 2007. I was so scared because I had to pay them within 2 days or I was going to be arrested. After I paid them the money I called back to get some type of receipt and the phone number was no longer in service. Now I am getting calls for all different places saying the exact same thing!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!! Here's an idea to all of these theives....GET A REAL JOB!!!! QUIT TAKING AND THREATENING US!!!!!
Got a call from them telling me I owed some PayDay loan from 2008, and 2012. Never took a PayDay loan. He asked me if I would make arrangements to pay today. I told him I wanted something sent to me showing what I owed, and for what. He said that he'd only send me an email if I agreed to pay today. I told him I wouldn't pay anything until I knew it was legit. He go upset and said if I didn't set payment arrangements today, then the process would go to court. I asked him how it could go to court if they don't have my address. I kept telling him I wasn't going to pay anything until I could see the debt in writing. He told me to forget it that the process would go to court, and that I better call my attorney. I told him he was unbelievable, and hung up. SCAM!
