I just got this call. He requested a donation and they will send out the packet. Wanted to know if I would send the money back by the next day!!. This was for the Police to help them with families that have lost a loved one or that is injured. I told him that I could not really give , but he asked if 20.00 would be ok. Sure,, but I am not up to donating as of now!!
Received a call from 313-757-6764 at 10am, Aug 21. The caller asked for a donation and wanted to mail out a packet. I told him no donation without confirming he was honest. 313 is a Wayne county, Michigan area code, probably from Detroit. I called the number on my caller ID and a recorded message said THIS IS THE FOP LODGE. Since I could not match the number with any known FOP Lodge, and the caller refused to identify himself, or provide confirmation, (he just kept reading script), I just ended the call.
