keep getting calls from 313-877-1000 asking for Robert who did not sign the W2 for mortagage papers.I answered them a couple of times saying that it is a wrong number. I think they try to find more details about you if you reveal your identity innocently.
I lodged a complaint with FCC and hopefully they will catch these antisocial elements soon.
actually - this is a legit number (Title Source). We are doing a Home ReFi and they called with a question. I didn't answer their first call because I didn't recognize the number, so I looked it up online and found this page. Then I called my bank - and they confirmed this is the title company they are using.
It is a legit number. If you are re-mortgaging your home, this company is a QC department. They examine closing papers and, if there are any errors, they inform you. They may send you a copy of the sheet by email or fax and ask you to make a correction. That's what they did for me and the closing sheet they sent was valid. The company and department name are: "Arriet Daniel-Alston - CEMA QC/Auditing Dept." Company address is: 662 Woodward Avenue | Floor 10 | Detroit, MI 48226. I got the sheet updated and faxed back to them in 30 minutes. Easier than snail mail, and the mortgage payment process will start on time!
