Got a call from this no, ad they said I hav an outstanding balance of $52 from att&t that I need to clear or rose I'm taken to court. I hav not had any business from ATT&t. They guy was threatening me and I hanged up
Keep getting calls from 313-879-XXXX The last four digits are never the same, but the first six are ALWAYS the same. This is a scam. Trying to scare you into giving them your info to steel your identity. They call my cell all the time (3-6 times a day) NEVER leave a message. If I do pick up it is sometimes a recording, other times a person. If I start to ask smart questions, they always hang up on me. They have thousands of numbers they can call from but the first 6 are always the same. Some company called Level 3 Communications. They will say they are any one from the FBI and IRS wanting money for taxes, to companies like AT&T or Verizon saying you owe them for a bill. Tell them to send a bill and NEVER give any of your info. If they ask for your address, tell them it should be in your file with the company... That is when they normally hang up. I hope this helps everyone out.
I've been getting calls for several 313-879-xxxx numbers of the past few weeks. I've answered about half of the times, only to have the call disconnect as soon as I say hello. I've stopped answering, and they have never left a message.
