Calling my house

Called twice in a row with no one there when I answered.  Sounds like a robocall

It was GoogleAds wanting me to purchase ad space on Google.  I assume they got my number from the WhoIs database (which is an improper use of this data).

I seriously doubt GoogleAds called you. Google gets plenty of business seeking it.

Dirtbag telemarketers and self-described "SEO experts" glean information from WHOIS registration data, and blast out emails and call people.

The posts above this one certainly make the sender suspect.  I don't like Neutral Tandem, ever since they started calling me, right after I got the National Recovery Agency/Association to stop calling.  Neutral Tandem is most likely not the source - just one layer making it hard to find the actual sender.
