A woman asked for Jeremy and then said wrong number. This was at 3:30 in the morning. Just a few minutes before that they called my roommate's cell phone and hung up. My friend in Canada got the same call not a minute later from 314-714-8457.
This number is from windows live messenger phone tools. This person called you using their computer.
Given that they called your roomate and your Canadian friend in such proximity, this person probably had your phone bill and was calling all the numbers on it to find out to whom they belonged.
Aside from the fact that it's being cancelled this June, it's a very cheap way to call (~1.5c/min) and, as you know, anonymous. I use it regularly to call from outside the US.
314-209-7545 calls me only when someone in SC calls me. Thing is, I live in Estonia, in the European Union. Who can know when I receive a call over here?
I've researched this a bit and found other websites with the same number doing the same thing. There is definitely an international trend. Could it be connected to some anti-terrorist program? Domestic spying? I know that all int'l. calls are monitored...
Hey... this is so weird. I live in Québec, Canada and I just received a call from this same number this morning at 9:00 am but listen, the woman didnt told me that it was a wrong number... She first asked me if the "woman of the house" was there and I said no but can I take the message... She said: Can I ask you something? Did you received some calls from the Philippines asking you autorisations to accept long distance fees... Surprised, it did happened (my mother received at least 3 phone calls 30 minutes ago from her aunt and nephew *she's filipina*. After two times where the line hung up when she says: YES I accept the phone... She finally got her family on the phone. So, I was really chocked by the fact that this lady on the phone knew that. I then told her: absolutely, we received those calls but how do you know that???? She answered me that she was working for a "Fraud telephone company" ("Verason" or "Berazon Fraud Agency" or whatever...) and that they received an ALERT from my house!?! Damn... wtf is that!!!? I mean I was so confused that I asked her again to tell me who she was then she repeated the same sh*t... She was really nice on the phone when she explained who she was and said to me thank you before hanging up...
Is this a joke? Someone who has access to my telephone bill??? Can someone know what Im supposed to do???... STRANGE!
