Called at 1:32 PM. Said his name was Eric and that he was sending me my new health insurance card. He then tried to confirm that I'm receiving Social Security (I wasn't). He asked if I was over 60, and I said I wasn't. He then said, "so you're over 50." I said no, and he hung up.

I got a call from a friend tonight who called me from her house, as she had many times before. But her number did not show up on my caller ID when she called! What showed up in my caller ID was INTL GATEWAY 314-226-1917. As my friend and I talked from our separate homes, my caller ID still said INTL GATEWAY was my connection! So it apparently is intercepting my phone line. Has anyone found out about this unscrupulous phone number? I tried to call it and got a recording that it's disconnected -- which, of course, could simply be the recording they've put on their voice mail.
Why would 314-226-1917 show up on my friend's caller id when my area code at my home on the phone I was using is 573??? Is someone tapping into my phone conversations? I would like to know what is going on. I reported this issue to my phone company, Windstream. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
