Auto extended warranty. They keep calling my work cell phone. The only personal entity I have ever given my work cell phone number to is Ford Credit. So, I know how these people got my number. They repeatedly call and I have thrown away more of their mail / paper advertisements than I can count. They are a useless waste of a service, and I regret giving Ford Credit my work cell phone number now.
Yep same here, supposed to be a bumper to bumper warranty. Guy said try manufacturers first and basically told me I bought an expensive piece of paper when I said the warranty was crap.. Traded that car in never again will I deal with used vehicles.
I did not give these people my cell phone number. They have also called my home telephone number involving my daughter's car. I had already told her about their call and they insisted that I needed to give them her cell phone number and they would continue to harass until I did. they refused to accept what I told them. I found 6 illegal calls on my cell phone. Both the bank and the National Vehicle Protection Inc. falsely claimed that I gave them my cell phone number. I refuse to freely give out my cell phone number and most of the times it is not even on.
Recently started getting calls and messages regard g "coverage" of my 1997 Lincoln. I sold it three years ago. It did have and extended warranty that I purchased when I bought the vehicle. Based on other posts, above, it seems likely this is the company that underwrote it and they are looking to sell new coverage. The calls are becoming increasingly demanding.
Got a call from this number a couple times and so I called back to let them know I did not have the car anymore they are calling about. They tried their best with arguing, etc to try to get me to cover my new car with them. They went to the extent that I got infuriated enough to hang up the phone. DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER!!
