CID = WIRELESS CALLER. Time of call 5:49 PM. Female voiced automated call claimed I am being sued by the IRS and provided a number to call back. Obvious scam (but still a little unsettling) so number is now blocked. There was an article in the local paper a few weeks ago about this scam, too.
I have been receiving a call every day with the same message, a Female voice "The IRS is filling a lawsuit against you, please contact us at 314-309-8690".
Thank goodness it is a scam but very unsettling message to listen to.
It may be unsettling IF you have to listen to it. Try stopping them from leaving messages and see what you hear then. These fraudsters need some kind of answer to be dangerous. Take that away, there's little that's more helpless than a scammer without a victim.
