This actually is from mercy Hospitals automatic appointment setters. You can go online and request an appointment, or if your physician refers you to a specalist they will call to set up the appointment for you. Not spam.
My wife's physician referred her to another physician. So these people called 2 days ago, a recording came on saying that it was Mercy's Appointment Center please wait to schedule your appointment appointment, then the phone rang on the other end and a lady who could barely speak English says, "Mercy Appointment Center, how may I help you?" "You called me." I replied. Well, I had to muddle through this lady's horrible English to figure out that they were trying to schedule this appointment for my wife. I told her that my wife was not home and I would give her the message. Well they called again today, even after I had assured them that I would give her the message. I didn't dare answer it again today. I think Mercy must be outsourcing some of there phone services to India and have done a truly a horrible job. BAD FORM MERCY, I thought that you guys were better than that. Look out SSM, you now have a contender for the worse medical provider in the St. Louis area.
These jerks just called AGAIN and hung up when I answered. They also called my wife's cell phone twice (thank God they do not have my cell number). Look, she will make the damn appointment when she is ready too. They are worse than a telemarketer. I will be filling a complaint with Mercy.
