Shannon,
These texts are phishing scams. They want you to call and leave confidential information. Once they get the information from you, then they can start stealing money from you. The bank, Southern Commercial, did NOT send you this text. A fraudster sent it claiming to be the bank. A bank will never send a text or email like this.
I also got a text message from (914) 482-8103 saying it was an alert from southern commercial bank that my card has been deactivated and to contact them at (314) 442-0474. When I looked up the phone number online I was lead to this site from another uses that said they received the same message. It's obviously a scam because neither the other user or I have ever had an account with them.
I got a text from this number regarding a card being deactivated. I don't have a card with Southern Commercial Bank and its very upsetting that they have texted me. I have to pay for that.
