Same thing! They called at 9pm, I didn't answer. I called back and it was exactly what you said. I waited for 5 minutes and then it hung up on me. It was saying thanks for using my cell phone and how im "smart" for using my cell? That I could register on my cell to win $50k. It sounds weird/strange. But this happened. They also called me yesterday.... 2 times in 2 days. Hope it does not continue.
They have been calling for a week and a half. They say that they are connected to a package that I have ordered, then go into a spiel about sending me a 500 dollar gift card. I told them no, i was not going to receive the item from them, and the guy on the other end said "Oh yes I was!" What Gaul. They even have my address and credit card info. Finally the guy hung up, but the calls keep coming. And I am on the Do Not Call Registry!

How the hell do they get our information?? This is a scam my cop buddy's said to change my bank info to protect against thieves!! It's not just a telemarketer but and survey as well. They asked me a ton of questions such as conferm my address and debit number it's got to be a scam and did the guy tell you he was new and didn't understand what all they can do with the magazine? And what have yeah.
I want these people STOPPED. I too am on the NO CALL LIST, this is nothing but blatant harrassment. I will file a complaint with the District Attorney's office if this does NOT STOP!!!
