Recorded message about my credit card account. I was assured by the voice that there were no problems with my account - that's a relief. Hung up after that bit of good news.
A recorded message telling me that "there is an urgent message about my credit card account, there isn't an issue but they can offer me a lower interest rate. Please press 1 if I would like to speak with a representative. My eligibility expires today, consider this my final notice. Press 1 to speak with a representative." I pressed 1, said "take me off the list" and with no response they instantly hung up... DEFINITELY A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just received my "urgent message" a few minutes ago. This is the fourth such message (or very similar) in the past eight days... all from different telephone numbers! So like the others, this one is now blocked via call sentry as well.
