alright "bill collector", i don't know if you have 800 dollars to throw around (in full), but I do not.  This debt with a certain apartment complex wasnt even brought to my attention until 7 months after i moved out and it was already reported to the bureau, now there has to be some kind of case there.  Can somebody just report you to a collection agency with a debt that was never brought to my attention???  As for CCM,  these people need to try to find out a little more about their individual cases and the extinuating circumstances of that case.  Sometimes its not JUST about collecting debt, it's about principle.  You don't HAVE to be rude to get what you want, being passive-aggresive works so much better.  BTW, I've done everything in my power short of actually physically going to the office to get ahold of someone to work something out, and no one answers or follows up with anyone.

Consumer Collection Management Collection Agency Violations in St. Louis, MO
Is Consumer Collection Management collection agency harassing you with threatening phone calls to your cell or landline (in St. Louis or Jefferson County, MO)?  Has anyone from Consumer Collection Management left rude, threatening messages on your cell or landline?  Does Consumer Collection Management leave messages on your voicemail that do not properly identify themselves as a debt collector?  Has Consumer Collection Management ever threatened you with a wage garnishment, or a lawsuit, or that they will report your debt to a credit bureau?  Have employees at Consumer Collection Management ever contacted your family member, or friends, or your job, and talked to someone other than you about your debts?  If so, then they have most likely violated your federal consumer rights.  But regardless of how intimidating they may sound over the phone, there is plenty you can do to defend your rights against them.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is a federal statute under which collection agencies and debt collectors are regulated in how they collect on a debt.  The statute is very clear and straightforward as to what is a violation.  But even though it is written unambiguously, the collection industry has a very difficult time following it.  These rules, however, are in place to ensure that your rights as a consumer are protected.  So when a violation occurs, a collection agency must pay you $1,000 in damages.  In addition, the FDCPA states that the collector must pay for all of your attorney fees.  This means that you will not have to shell out a dime to a law firm in order to represent you.

Consumer Collection Management (CCM) is a collection agency located in Maryland Heights, Missouri.  They specialize in the collection of past due debts.

It can be very aggravating to have to deal with a collector when they are constantly calling and threatening you with any number of legal actions.  But you do not have to put up with it for even one second longer.  Our firm is ready, willing, and able to take on your case immediately, and move quickly to resolve the matter in your favor.  This means stopping the collector from violating your rights, getting you the statutory compensation that you deserve, and making sure that they pay for all your attorney fees (because we will not charge you a thing for representing you in this type of case).

In addition, it may be in your best interest to look at the possibility of a St. Louis bankruptcy.  Depending your particular situation, a St. Louis Chapter 7 bankruptcy (in which all of your unsecured debts are discharged), or a St. Louis Chapter 13 bankruptcy (in which your secured loans are restructured so as to make one, easy monthly payment) may work best for you.
