The name Jimmy Ottis has been mentioned as being associated with this number 314-529-3902. The funny thing is, that name is associated with at least three other numbers that call me on a continual basis; I let my voice mail answer any calls I do not recognize and no one leaves a message, especially not jimmy ottis. the number they call me on is a land line and does not cost me a cent for the calls, so I just let them keep on calling. It doesn't bother me one bit...lol!
get anywhere from 3 to 6 calls per day with the name jimmy ottis appearing but the number is always different I am disabled and do not want whatever it is they are trying to sell or whatever please make it stop

1. Do not answer the phone if you see an unknown number on your Caller ID ... let it go to answering machine or voicemail. Many telescammers hang up after three or four rings.
2. If you have a smartphone, get one of the inexpensive or free call blocker apps at your online app store, and learn how to use it.
3. If your cell is not "smart", read the manual to learn how to set up a "group". Assign the scammer's phone number to that group. Also assign a "silent ring" to that group. You will not hear future calls from that number.
3a. Alternately, assign a "silent ringtone" as the DEFAULT ringtone. Then, assign your favorite ringtones to friends, family, contacts, businesses, etc. That way, you will not hear your phone ring, even if the scammer changes numbers! (This is also called "whitelisting", and will cause you to miss calls from non-whitelisted numbers, so be careful!)
4. For cell phones or landlines: Contact your phone service provider. They may have a facility or method to allow you to block numbers.
5. For landlines: there are several call blocking devices and services available. Use your favorite search engine to find one.
6. DO NOT call unknown numbers back without checking who called (800notes is your friend)! All that does is verify your number is "live". Instead, read this:

Just one of the many 101,000+ blocked numbers on my phone. (My phone is synced with the FCC spam report) I bought the Extreme Call Blocker app for $5 a few months ago when I just kept getting more and more spam calls. Best app ever. It blocks these numbers and doesnt even allow them to go to voicemail. Now when I get a new spam call, I answer and scream as loud as I can for a few seconds. Then, I add them to my blacklist. Makes me feel better at least.
They won't stop calling me they keep asking for me and I say that person is not in right now and I ask if I can take a message and they so OK n they hang up
