Incoming call, says they are responding to an application for mortgage or refinance. I have not done so. Seems like American Equit Mortgage is trying to get people to bite on low interest rates before they go up.
This number has non stopped texting me telling me they own a property for rent I responded to off of Craig's list. They are using a horrible story about a wreck and death in family and want to rent the property out in Texas. This person now is being aggressive over texts to have me send application money and the application.
For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:
