This guy must be on a roll. We received a similar call this afternoon, just as everyone else has described. My husband blocked our number and called him back. He told the guy he knew it was fraudulent and the guy hung up on him.
The very threatening message that has been left for me multiple times reads as follows-
"This message is intended to contact you regarding an enforcement action executed by the United States Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be in an intentional attempt to avoid an admission appearance before a Magistrate Judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is......I advise you to call and help us help you." There were 3 phone numbers associated with this message- 1-407-588-1689 / 1-706-250-8338 / 1-314-627-0386 represented by David Grey / Dennis Grey and Robert Morris. THIS IS A FRAUD AND A HARASSMENT!!!
I just received my 2nd pre-recorded call from Robert Morris today. Same message as everyone else seems to be describing ("... enforcement action executed by the United States Treasury ...", same callback number of 3146270386. I'm in Boulder, CO.
Received a call from Mr Robert Morris, same as the other folks here. The bonus call came 4 minutes later when Kevin Mason (with the same person/voice/accent) called to tell me of the same thing. Only this time, Kevin called from 903-493-6095 not 314-627-0386.
The "Robert Morris" who left a message for me had a slight Irish accent. These calls are a real hoot. Sometimes I go ahead and answer just to mess with the dude.
