I am gett all of the same numbers. I have been looking for a job online with alot of people. And some of the ask me if I want to go to school. I keep saying no. I never once said yes. I get calls from all over the USA want me to go to school. One of the site that ask about school everytime you get in is JobAletsUsa.com if that help anyone.
I've received a call from this number and i have no idea who it is. I checked the area code and the caller if from Missouri. But it isn't this that's bothering me, what's bothering me is I've also received 2 more calls with area codes that I'm not familiar with. The (314) is a Missouri. And i've received calls from a (312) which is from Chicago, and a (917) which is from New York. And as you can tell...these places are nowhere NEAR close to each other, not only that but all the calls were basically made at about an hour apart. I got a call from (312)878-5578 at 6:12pm, then (314)627-5523 at 7:26pm, and lastly (917)-398-5567 at 8:54. Unfortunetly i was not able to answer any of the calls to see what they wanted because my phone was left upstairs, so i'm not rushing to any conclusions. Yet, it's also freaky because the times of the calls were too close. They were all made in a 24 period. I'm only 16 year old chick so i'm a little off-set.
My story is pretty much the same as Serenity's. I did not answer the call, no message left, and was trying to find out about the 314, 312 and 917 calls received within a 24hr period.
i got the same calls repeatly til i got pissed...its just a stupid autovoice from online college [***] and when u say no thanks they offer a home securty sysyem its dumb
Also got a call from this number, but when I answered, they hung up. I called back, as I often get calls from numbers I don't know for the company I work for, and waited on hold for a couple minutes to speak with a representative. I asked why they called me, and he requested my phone number which I wasn't about to give him if he didn't already have it without finding out who they were. I asked 6 times who the company was, and all he would respond with was "Unfortunately, for me to pull that information, I'm going to need the number that was called." I had no idea until I got off the phone and googled it that it was actually a computer I was talking to, as it was able to speak in nearly normal sounding cadences, pausing til I finished before saying something else. After googling the number, it appears to be a telemarketing company selling courses to an online college.
I received calles from 312-878-5578 and 314-627-5523 within about 15 minutes of each other. When I presured the guy he said the could provide all the information but I'd have to call customer support. When I pressed even more he hung up... This is a crime... they are causing me to pay for cell fees.... There should be some place we can report this too!!!!
