I went to the website that the previous poster had for them and called accounts inquiry. They used my first and middle initial with my last name to try to identify me. I said I was that person and he said I owed 500$ on an old Direct TV bill. I told them I never had DirectTV. He asked if the last four of my social were some random number. I told him it was not and he said he would take me off the list. I would call them back, it seems like they are just grabbing names out of the phone book. The call took about 1 min.
This company is a collection agency. They will leave the name of the person they are trying to reach after repeated calls.
In our case,,,it was for an unknown person and they said that they would update theiir records and not call anymore. We will have to wait and see.
