Guy claiming he is Ricky Jones claiming they have a legal case against me, this same guy called leaving 5-8 messages stating the same thing, and claiming to be two different people.
a man with heavy asian accent called and threatened that he was calling the sherriffs office to come out and arrest me if I didnt pay them 700+ for a payday loan that was paid in 06. He rambled off my SSN and my name and previous address and said that he would call my boss and have me fired and also said that I would go to jail for 6 mth to a year or be made to pay as much as 8000.00 in legal fees if I did not agree to pay this. I called the payday loan place they said the outstanding balance was only 325.00 (my ex didnt pay his half) but that the account was no longer with them and was with someone else... that I should pay this... I gave them my debit info and they planned to take 300.00 out of my account tomorrow and promised that would clear my debt and they would no longer contact me.....After finding this website and many others I see this is a scam... I called my bank and cancelled my debit card.. and put a fraud watch on it to keep all future charges from being made against my account.
this person called me today 3 times and 2 at work said he was coming for me
this was already filed on bankruptcy and he is harssing me and i have possible loosing my job.
