Just got a call on my cell from 314-722-2631. I usually do not answer any numbers that are not programmed into my cell, but a member of my family is in surgery, so I answered it. I am furious at whomever is behind that call, as it cost me 10 cents, and it seemed to be a robo menu to press something if I were something.... couldn't understand it, and I hung up as soon as I realized it was not important. I do not give my cell number out to anyone or anything that doesn't have a reason to have it. I would love to see legislation that would allow us to sue anyone that causes us to pay for time without any benefit.
They called me and asked for person not at this #. I started asking questions to determine who they were. They tie up my time, I will tie up their time and cause them to be less productive and make less money. Woman was evasive, would not answer my questions. I Asked that my number be taken off their call list. Woman hung up on me after getting ugly. Called the $ back 5 minutes later. Got a man, Asked again my number be removed. He looked my number up (which he had with caller ID) and said it had been taken off their call list.
