I keep getting calls wanting money for a church in Nigeria. The caller says he is calling from Nigeria but this number is on my caller Id, 314.802.9872
I just got a call from this number at 1 am. It was from a girl saying that she was residing in Russia, Moscow. This is very, very odd indeed. She was wanting money for traveling expenses. Her name is Anastasiya Gordeeva.
Person (in broken English) when asked why they are calling said something about diabetes. They used an actual name at my phone number. Thinking that it was an actual charity, I informed them that we do not respond to telephone solicitation.
If I had known in advance that they were just another scam artist, they would have received a different response. We are on no-call list (state and national). How do we stop these calls?
