Who called from 3148281113

I keep on getting text messages from this number claiming to be interested in buying a computer that I have for sale. The caller also claims to be someone else in the last text which means that he or she has made other prank calls

I keep getting text from Troy Billard and Tracy [email protected] wanting to buy a computer armoire.  Say they mailed a check, but it was a fake check.  It is a scam if you get a text from either of these people.  The phone number is 3148281113 and 3148282583.

As soon as I placed my ad for couch/loveseat, Tracy Billard text say that she was hearing impaired. Said she would buy the couch and mail a cashier check. Text 1 wk later asking if I had received the check and want me to send money $1550  couch was $400, to Ca  for the shipper? Text back said no and said she was in intensive care. Asked me to please forward money to Ca. Was not making any sense at all. Looked up this number and found this. Please do not fall for there pranks.

Posted an ad on craigslist for some appliances.  "Troy Billard" responded from this number advising he was hearing impaired, but wanted to purchase the items and would send a check in the mail and would have his shipping company (Nathaniel Pope) pick it up.  Wanted additional information.  I questioned why someone from half way across the country would want to purchase used appliances and pay to have them shipped.  Searched the Internet and as I suspected...  It's a Scam!!!

Received a response from Tracy Billard about a pressure washer I listed on craigslist and this is the response I received and I replied with the information he/she asked for and have not yet heard back.

I'm okay with the price,payment will be sent to you which will be in form of a certified check,it'll be mailed through the courier service and i will also arrange for a shipping agent to come for the pick up right after payment is delivered. i'll like you to hold on it for this time frame and disregard any other inquiries.

I'm hearing impaired the only way i communicate is via email and text message i hope that's okay by you,Am travelling very soon but i intend to send the payment before my departure so you should consider me your buyer,however i'm still trying to get in touch with the shipping agent who would be responsible for the pick up and delivery to my new resident,he's an interstate shipping agent and could be anywhere in the country now but if i don't get a hold of him before my departure i would be compelled to include his fee to the payment that would be sent to you,when i get a hold of him he'll provide his information of how you can get his fee to him.
