Company was "GC Services". It's a collection company. They were calling about a debt owed to American Express. Unclear whether they only handle collection matters for AmEx, or whether they handle other creditor accounts as well...
Roberta Barry at this # calls me night and day. She of course will not say where she's from, but I know it's an Amex bill collector. Very sneaky - beware because when the call comes thru on my cell it's from a # local to my home area code. Snakes!
Same story - Roberta Berry / Barry "its imperative that i speak with you regarding your relationship to (so and so)" Strange because they are not even after me, but the CFO from a job I left over 3 years ago. Seriously Roberta --- its not my problem if they have an unpaid bill.
He left a message on my machine saying his name was Ryan Wells, said it was an urgent matter... But did not disclose what company he was with or why he was calling. He's probably an American Express collector. The number on Caller ID shows up as a local number. Very Sneaky! Why can't they just be upfront and tell the truth? Oh, that's right, debt collectors have no morals.
I got a call this morning from Ryan Wells saying that he had some of my personal information which shouldn't be shared and needed to hear from me immediately. Caller ID showed a local number. Don't these guys know that google will expose them?
