Received a called from 314-925-3127, I did not answer it and there was no message left. I tried to call the number back and got a message that said "the person at ext" and then there is a pause and then the message says "the person you are calling is not answering, try your call again later, goodbye". Why do people make it so difficult to reach them? They have my number and they can call and bug me all the time, but when I get their number, they make sure you cannot get through. What is this all about?
Just got a call from this number on my home phone and my cell phone - both had the same time stamp. Interesting thing is that I have different area codes (from two different states) on the two phones. That makes me think their list is by name and they are not going sequentially by phone number. I answered the one on my home phone, and it was "Chelsea" from "Home Protection". (My cell phone was in another room, so it became a missed call.) So, I guess my name is on some list out there, with both my home and my cell numbers.
Caller id on the home phone said "ST LOUIS MO".
I classified this call as "Telemarketer", but I suspect it is the phone equivalent of "phishing".
I got hit with the call this morning - did not answer as did not know who was calling.
It is time for the government to do something about these people /companies that are making these calls. They are taking away our freedoms of being able to be able to answer our phones freely without being spamed or hit with other nuisance calls. We have to first look at our phone to see who is calling because of them - this has to stop. Putting your phone number on the national do not call list does not work as they still call you.
I would really like to have their home number or cell phone number so I could call them all day like they do to us. They should be required to provide these numbers to us so!
If they had to provide these numbers these calls would stop!
Rcvd 2 calls, back to back, VM was silent. You call the number back and it's "You have received the VM for Goodbye" and it hangs up... I'm on the Do Not Call registry so I wonder how they got my number?
