Calls from this number have become very frequent, maybe even daily. Phone rings three times and then call hangs up before it can even go to our answering maching.
These bozos are trying to sell 'repair warranties' for older cars. They'll ask if you still own what ever older vehicle they have listed for you, then if you say 'NO', they'll ask if you have any other older vehicle you might want to cover. They won't tell you where they got your phone number, or how they know what kind of car you recently took in for maintenance. They're just trying to separate you from your money....if you have any.
It's a company called "Reliant." Getting calls at my office daily. No VM - they just hangup. (They always seem to call while I'm at lunch.) I only see them on my list of missed calls.
Solution: Just call their number, (314) 925-3375. It's an automated message. Press "2" and you can have the system automatically add the number you are calling from to their "do not call" list by pressing "1" -OR- you can press "2" a second time to enter another number to add to the "do not call" list. You don't have to talk to anyone.
I called three times and entered each number they could be calling to access my phone. :)
