Just got a text from them even though I do not have text options, saying that I won a $1000 giftcard from Best Buy. Tried to call them and got a voicemail saying that messaging has not been set up.
"Your last entry has WON! Go to http://www.bestbuy.com.gpgc.biz/ and enter your winning code [redacted] ..."
These twits just text every number until they get a hit. Just forward these to your carrier (AT&T use 7726 or SPAM).
Note the address in the url. You are actually going to gpgc.biz NOT BestBuy. The other item is that I don't enter contests, especially with my cell number.
I just went to WHOIS.NET to determine the owner of the site. It was registered to someone in Panama six days ago (5/23/2012). The site points you to Best Buy and Target. I used the validation code F*** Y** and it worked! Now to claim my $1000.00 (nyuk nyuk).
Well, too much work. Who wants to give their personal information to 18 "offers"?
