Received call @ 7:12 PM (EDT) on May 24th. Call I.D. Showed: "UNKNOWN NAME". I did not answer and have no voice mail. If you call the # it says disconnected. Scammers are piggybacking on #'s not working. Beware the originator could be located any where in the world.
Answered to an automated message about "lowering credit card interest rates," I stayed online to reach an agent to request removal from the calling list.
The live agent immediately became aggressive and yelled "WHY DO YOU WANT TO REMOVED. GIVE ME A GOOD REASON."
I stated that this type of call does not apply to me.
Again, "NO. I NEED A GOOD REASON."
I informed him that there was no call to yell and I asked for his name, to which he replied "John Elwood." I was highly skeptical.
Requested again for the agent to stop yelling to no avail.

Very hardcore scammers trying to get my credit card number without giving me info on who they are! Obvious fraud and these people are fearless. They know since they are out of the country it will be difficult to prosecute. I did file a report with the u.S. Federal trade commission though!!!!!!
