Payday loan SCAM! Nation wide alert went out on them from the BBB. Google these other numbers for links and details who to report them too! 866-570-0132 and 323-207-7417.
i just recieved the same kind of call... stated he was going to have me arrested. he would not give me any details. just threats..this is all while i am at work. i have no idea what loan or company he is even talking about..and when i finally got a date from him of the loan..i checked all my checking accounts.. there is no deposit or anything close to what he stated..
I also received calls on my cell at work & at home from 323-207-7417. The same person w/the same message also used 941-961-8518. They stated it was a very important legal matter & to call them back w/the name of my attorney. I am not defaulted on any loans & I know this is a scam. The person had a thick Indian accent and did not provide any details of the debt, his company or his name.
I just received the same call stating he was going to have me arrest tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. because of some bill he stated I had, he would not give me any information on the account he just wanted my personal information to pay off the debt or my attorney's info. He stated there is a current case against me in my county...NOT TRUE! He didn't even have the supposed case # handy or when I asked the name of the law firm he was calling from, he couldn't answer that.
Others who receive this type of calls, no worries just hang up and don't answer them...it's only wasting your time and it makes them upset when you blow them off.
I just got the same call!!! She is threatening and asking for my lawyer. She was very hard to understand. Don't even know how she got my phone number!!!
I got a call from 323-207-7417. At first I thought someone was calling from a bar because of all the noise in the background. Then some lady I could not understand very well told me I was going to be sued and she wanted my lawyer information. I hung up on her like 3 times and she kept calling me and yelling at me. I asked her where she was calling from and she said California. I ased to speck to her boss and when I finlly got to talk to him I asked where he was calling from he said Florida. When I asked him where in Florida he got very mad and said he did not have to tell me. I told him I was going to contact my Attorney General. He said to go ahead because they always won there cases and it would cost me $8,000.00. Then he hung up.
