received a call from this number - possible debt collector- using the following phrases:
legal detain
criminal
felony
purge -for extreme amount of money
legal criminal matter
judge demands an appearance
court summons
This number is from Los Angeles, CA across from the library. However, they use different numbers from different sites. If you tracked the number it would lead you to an abandoned building. They are using a false docket number, threatening with legal detain, and felony. If the judge demanded an appearance it would be in writing. The sheriff will find you. They claim to be investigators. They claim to be a law firm. When you ask them for a physical address they will be evasive. You ask for a debt validation letter they will send you a generic email. Do not fall for it. It is a scam. Once they get your money from your checking account, they will continue to suck it dry.
I just got a call from this lady too and I cant believe the dignity of her trying to tell me I have a felony warrant and she was coming to detain me and its so funny how that can be when im not even in California and I live in Washington and work for the county here and she told me I was getting arrested. I told her to get her facts straight and if she doesn't stop harassing me I would get a hold of an attorney quicker then [***].
